Walser family

Tradition for over 400 years

Our farm, the farm building has existed for over 400 years, our barn has been managed by our family for generations with enjoyment and love, and it can still be seen in its rustic wooden construction. We farm the approx. 3 hectares of grassland, the plots are all in close proximity to the farm the majority of our fields are rough terrain and cannot be worked with machinery.

Our farm is run as a side-line business, sheep farming is typical for the area. Regional products from farmers can be purchased through us!

Our animals

Our animals

12 Ewes live on our farm. In spring, the animals are fenced in behind our house in the steep terrain, the sheep & goats graze on the fresh grass. In summer, our animals are on the Luibis Alm for a “summer retreat”! Diligent hikers can visit our sheep there. (Ascent takes approx. 2 hours). In spring & autumn, the animals graze on the new grass surrounding the farm with their offspring.
